Operator: SustainaCore (“we”, “us”, “our”) — a personal, non-commercial research project

By accessing or using the Site, requesting a login code, creating an account, or clicking “I Agree”, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to use the Site. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2) Definitions

• Content means all materials on the Site, including index outputs, scores, weights, rankings, commentary, summaries, datasets, charts, text, and other information.
• Index Content means any index methodologies, constituent lists, scores, ranks, weights, and related commentary published by SustainaCore.
• User means any person who accesses or uses the Site.
• Account means a registered user profile on the Site.

3) Nature of the Site and Content (research and information only)

The Site provides informational and research content, including Index Content related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance and ethics.

The Content is provided for general information and research purposes only. It is not investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, compliance advice, or any other professional advice.

You agree that:

• SustainaCore does not act as your adviser, fiduciary, or agent.
• You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions, including any investment or business decisions.
• You will not rely on the Content as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals.

4) No offer, solicitation, or recommendation

Nothing on the Site constitutes or should be interpreted as:

• an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security or financial instrument,
• a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset,
• an endorsement of any company, product, service, or strategy,
• a prediction of future performance or outcomes.

Any references to “weights,” “rankings,” “top companies,” or similar concepts are methodological outputs and research commentary, not instructions or recommendations.

5) Methodology, limitations, and no guarantee of accuracy

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Index Content is based on our methodology and interpretation of publicly available or otherwise lawfully accessible information.
• Public information can be incomplete, ambiguous, time-lagged, corrected later, or disputed.
• Our scoring and commentary necessarily include judgement and may differ from your interpretation or from third parties.

We do not guarantee that the Content is accurate, complete, current, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. We may update, correct, or remove Content at any time without notice.

6) Corrections, right of reply, and content concerns

If you believe any Content is inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or unfairly presented, contact us at: info@sustainacore.org

When you contact us, please provide:

• the relevant page or company/ticker,
• the specific statement(s) you believe are incorrect,
• the correction you propose, and
• supporting materials (for example, official statements, filings, or other documentation).

We may (at our discretion) correct or clarify Content, add an update note, request additional information, or remove Content temporarily or permanently.

7) Accounts, login codes, and mandatory acceptance of Terms

If the Site requires an Account or uses email login codes to access certain features:

• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your Account.

Mandatory acceptance: You must accept these Terms (and the Privacy Policy) before you can receive a login code or sign in. If you do not accept, you will not be able to log in.

Re-acceptance: We may require users to re-accept these Terms when Terms change or periodically.

8) Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, harvest, mine, or systematically extract Content (including Index Content) by any means, including automated tools, without our prior written consent;
• redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Content;
• circumvent access controls or authentication measures;
• use the Site in a way that interferes with, disrupts, or burdens the Site or its infrastructure;
• upload or transmit malware or harmful code;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• use the Content to create a confusingly similar competing index or database that substitutes for the Site.

We may use technical measures to detect and prevent scraping, automated extraction, or abusive use.

9) Intellectual property and permitted use

All rights in the Site and Content are owned by or licensed to SustainaCore, except where explicitly stated otherwise.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site and Content for your personal or internal business research purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may share short excerpts only if:

• the excerpt is limited and not a substitute for the original,
• you attribute it to SustainaCore (for example, “SustainaCore Research”), and
• you include a link to the relevant page (where linking is available).

You may not share full summaries, full datasets, or bulk exports without written permission.

10) Company names, trademarks, and no affiliation

All company names, tickers, product names, and trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners.

SustainaCore is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected to any company mentioned on the Site, nor any exchange, benchmark, or index provider.

11) Third-party content and links

The Site may reference or link to third-party materials. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices.

12) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any Account immediately if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the Site, or used the Site in an abusive or unlawful manner.

13) Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

14) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SustainaCore will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or Content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims will be limited to the greater of:

• £100, or
• the total fees you paid to SustainaCore in the 12 months before the claim arose (if any).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

15) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SustainaCore from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your misuse of the Site or Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or rights of any third party.

16) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy (available on the Site).

17) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on the Site with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. We may require click-through re-acceptance.

18) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.

19) Miscellaneous

• Severability: If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a business transfer.
• Entire agreement: These Terms (and referenced policies) are the entire agreement regarding your use of the Site.
